Game Day Information and FAQ

KC Band supports Central Chargers Athletics by performing at home and away football games throughout the fall season.

On game days, students will stay at the school to prepare for the game from the time they are released from classes until leaving for the stadium. Students will be provided with dinner prior to leaving for the stadium. Transportation for band students is provided by the school.

At the game, band students sit together in the stands by section and perform “stand tunes” to help cheer on the football team, and they participate in the halftime show on the field.

After the game, students will travel back to the school by bus. They will unload equipment and change out of their uniforms before being dismissed by the directors.

    All varsity football tickets will be general admission and may only be purchased online. There will be no physical in-person ticket sales during the week at campuses or at the box office on game days. We will have a QR code available at the stadium that may be scanned to purchase tickets. 

    Tickets may be purchased through the mobile ticketing vendor Brushfire. No reserved seating tickets will be sold, but the green, seat-back seats are all open to general admission tickets.

    • Pre-sale tickets will be $5 for students and $7 for adults. Tickets will open to the public at 8 a.m. on the Sunday of the game week.

    • Beginning at 12 p.m. (noon) on the varsity game day, all tickets will be $9 each. 

    Tickets for away games are sold by the opposing team's district.

  • Band parents attending the football games may sit in any general admission seating areas; however, most band parents choose to sit close to the band, just behind the Lightning Dancers drill team.
